This policy covers our website. It does not cover the additional information we collect when you sign a Rental Agreement, such as your legal name, mailing address, government ID or vehicle details. That information is governed by your signed Rental Agreement.
What we collect
We collect information you give us directly when you:
- Send an enquiry through a contact form or the chat widget
- Opt in to receive emails, calls or text messages
- Give feedback or answer a survey
- Contact us for support
That may include your name, phone number, email address, messaging preferences, and anything else you choose to tell us.
Our website platform also records standard technical information when you visit, including your IP address, the pages you view and the browser you use. We use it to keep the site working and to understand how it is used.
How we use it

We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages
By giving us your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from CapRock Self Storage about your account, payment reminders and replies to enquiries you send us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.
We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every other category of information we collect, and are not shared with anyone.
Opting out
You can stop hearing from us at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any text message
- Using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email
- Changing your preferences in your tenant account
- Contacting us using the details at the bottom of this page
While your rental is active we will still need to contact you about your account and your unit.
Third-party services
This website relies on services run by other companies, which may receive your IP address and technical details of your visit when a page loads:
- GoHighLevel hosts this website and provides the contact forms and chat widget
- Google provides the fonts used across the site, and the map embedded on our location page
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager measure how the site is used: pages visited, how you arrived, and which buttons are pressed. We send Google the unit size someone was looking at when they pressed Rent Now or Reserve, and never the name, phone number, email address or message they typed into a form
- Our tenant payment portal, operated by our facility management provider, handles accounts and payments and is a separate service with its own policy
Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. Our website also reads unit sizes, rates and availability from a service we operate ourselves; it returns facility information only and collects nothing about you.
Where we link to another website, we encourage you to read its privacy policy before sharing information with it. We are not responsible for how other companies handle your data.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our services, and for as long as applicable law requires. Records connected to a rental are kept for longer than a website enquiry, because your Rental Agreement and the law both require it.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond as quickly as we can. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may have to keep some records where the law or an active Rental Agreement requires it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes appear on this page, and the effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use our website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
